fmbc Small Groups

As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.

Proverbs 27:17

We believe that life is not meant to be lived alone, rather it’s better surrounded by people who encourage, support, and challenge you to grow in your relationship with Christ.  At Freewill, we are stepping further into the mandate God has given to help make a difference in the lives of others.

While this may be different than what we may be familiar with or have grown accustomed to, like most things, you won’t know until you try, so check out the directory and connect with a Small Group today!

The New Testament is full of examples of Small Group Ministry.  Even Jesus himself modeled small groups when His earthly ministry began by calling 12 disciples to be His primary relational and ministry community. Together, they built meaningful relationships through small groups and we believe you will too.

No matter where you are or who you are … there’s a group for you!

Small Group Ministry is a powerful way to grow in faith and build meaningful connections within our community. We warmly invite every member to take part and experience the joy and support that comes from being part of a Small Group. While this may be different from what we're familiar with or have grown accustomed to, you never know until you try. Explore the directory and connect with a Small Group today!

As we prepare to enter our Fall Semester of FMBC Small "Community" Groups, we are filled with great anticipation for what God is going to do in and through us. Small Groups are more than another church activity, they are an opportunity for us to grow deeper in our faith, build stronger relationships, and walk together in unity as the body of Christ.  This year, as we continue to declare 2026: The Year of Unity and Prophetic Manifestation, we believe God is calling us to more than simply hearing His voice. He is calling us to hear His voice, understand His voice, and walk in what He says.

God is speaking. The question is: Are we positioned to hear Him? Do we understand what He is saying? And are we willing to walk it out?

Our Fall Small "Community" Groups have been intentionally designed to help us do just that. Through biblical teaching, meaningful discussion, prayer, and practical application, these sessions will create space for us to grow in our understanding of God’s Word, discern His voice, and develop the courage to respond in obedience.  Whether you have participated in Small Groups before or this will be your first time, we're asking every leader, every member, and every person who desires to grow deeper in God to make Small Groups a priority this semester. We need one another. We grow better together, and there are some things God wants to reveal and develop in us that are best discovered in community.
